With designs in sterling silver which may be accented by 18 karat gold and gemstones, Hardy likes hardiness and durability in his pieces. “They’re for people who hated having to polish their grandmother’s silver. Most of our silver is completely blackened and then polished, which just brighten the high points, so you can maintain it with a silver glove. It is meant for everyday use, which also keeps it bright.”
