Acclaimed for his creations of contemporary fine jewelry, Gurhan uses the richness and warmth of 24K gold to construct top-selling collections in the luxury jewelry sector.

Gurhan, the 2009 recipient of JQ International’s “Best Designer in Gold,” earned invaluable experience as a metalsmith in Istanbul, where he learned the ancient techniques of jewelry crafting. These age-old techniques allow him to create lightweight pieces with the durability that is essential when working with pure metals for fine jewelry. Surprisingly, Gurhan began his distinguished career as a jewelry designer at age 40 after traveling the world occupying a wide range of careers such as a watchmaker, audio engineer, bar and restaurant owner, and nightclub operator.
“It’s amazing to see Gurhan’s mastery of the craft considering the relatively short time that he has spent in the industry,” Campbell added. “This level of ability normally takes a lifetime to achieve but Gurhan has achieved it in less than 20 years.”
